Forza Lucha 5 7/29

The Empire Supporters Club (ESC) has announced that it will present the fifth annual Forza Lucha wrestling event on Saturday July 29th at the Holy Cross Rec Center in Harrison, NJ. The family-friendly event will once again benefit the AIDS Resource Foundation For Children.

Past installments of Forza Lucha have raised a total of $9,510, with $4,000 of that coming in last year alone. ESC members volunteer their time to organize and run the event, and wrestlers, referees, and ring announcers from independent wrestling organizations in New Jersey and Pennsylvania make significantly less than they might in other venues in order to put on an exciting show that supports a worthy cause.

The cost of the event is offset by sponsorships and donations from local businesses and individuals, as well as the Empire Supporters Club itself. Promotional opportunities such as match sponsorships, interview backdrops, and logo placement on event banners and merchandise are available for amounts ranging from $10 for appearing in this year's Forza Lucha video credits, through $500 to be the King or Queen of the show!

For the first time, Forza Lucha will take place in the Holy Cross Rec Center, located at 15 Frank E Rodgers Boulevard S in Harrison, NJ. In order to make sure all soccer fans have plenty of time to enjoy Forza Lucha and still see the New York Red Bulls take on the Montreal Impact later that day, doors will open at 1pm, with the bell time at 2pm. The suggested donation to join the crowd at Forza Lucha will be $10 at the door, although combination Forza Lucha VIP / Red Bulls section 101 ticket packages are available for $50 from the ESC. The package will include a front row seat for Forza Lucha, an exclusive t-shirt, and a general admission ticket to stand and sing with the Empire Supporters Club in Section 101 for the Red Bulls vs Impact match.
